Jesse spent nearly 17 years as a club golf pro before he discovered a market for personal sports training. He had an introduction to the concept several years before but never acted on it. Sure, at the club he provided personal instruction classes, but he never gave much thought toward fulltime work for one individual or for one family. That was until he was met with that proverbial offer he couldn’t refuse. During a charity tournament Jesse met the man who would change his life.

Don told Jesse he recently created an agency dedicated toward providing on-site and or traveling sports professionals who were professional level instructors in their chosen sport. For years, families, parents and individuals spent fortunes at gyms, clubs and other sports facilities sending their kids or participating themselves in attempts toward improving their game. Untold hours were spent at facilities working on a swing, ball contact, the short game and other aspects needed to take one’s game to another level.Don explained many families that either travel or lived in overseas locations were seeking personal sports instructors to teach the game to their children or themselves on a daily basis. Compensation was not only excellent – well beyond a full time salary as a club pro, but other perks such as room and board, travel and visiting countries and cities one had only dreamed about were in the offing as well. Don introduced Jesse to Bill who had spent several years as a personal tennis instructor for a wealthy Danish family that summered and wintered in various warm and enticing spots on the globe Bill had never heard about before. He was sold on the idea and soon off to Belgium where he landed a position with a wealthy real estate tycoon looking to reduce a few strokes from his game. Jesse not only spent a few hours each day instructing his new employer helping him shave strokes off his game, but lived in his employer’s spacious home replete with servants and scrumptious three squares per day. Jesse was greeted with the opportunity to travel about Europe where he played all the top courses with his employer, taking in all the great sights, eating at the best restaurants and sleeping in the most comfortable beds in fabulous hotels his former life as a club pro could never provide.Jesse had found a calling that suited him well because as soon as this gig was finished, he was off to another – this time in far off Australia!
