Greg is one of those, well, one-of-a-kind type of guys whose self-education adds a greater dimension to his marketable resume. By profession, he is an American-born and trained personal fitness instructor. By choice, Greg has learned about six languages. He is proficient in French, Spanish, Italian, workable German and Russian plus a little bit of English, he said chuckling. In fact, Greg’s sense of humor is another asset he employs to create a great deal of familiar comfort with clients he has to push to their physical limits. Greg headed to the bright lights of Los Angeles to ply his trade. Yet, after but a short stint working in a local gym, he began to attract clientele that opted for in-home sessions to retain anonymity plus convenience. It was during this period of his life he began learning additional languages when he hooked up with a family of French-speaking Spaniards from northern Spain. He soon found out that many people living in border areas throughout Europe possess the ability to speak more than one language since these adjoining areas of two countries share centuries of history and contact.His successful contact with this Spanish family led to his first “live-in” personal training gig that had him traveling throughout the world. Greg connected with a French stunt professional whose profession carried him throughout the world to many exotic movie-set locales where his services were needed. Greg traveled along providing the daily exercise routines that helped keep his client in tip-top shape for the demands faced daily as a stunt professional. Greg continued studying languages on his own broadening his linguistic range and, through his work as a personal trainer for the traveling stunt professional, not only visited many exciting places throughout the world, he met many different people involved in his employer’s profession as well as many movie industry personnel as well. And, on occasion, he landed a bit walk-on part in one of the films his stunt professional client was filming just because he was hanging around the set.Through this worldwide exposure, Greg only touched down on American soil for a short period of time when the phone began ringing incessantly with multiple offers from around the world begging for his services. He once again was fortunate to ply his acquired language skills that landed him a position with a traveling German circus that was visiting the Far East.
